Final Fantasy VII Revelation Players Can Raise Their Level Automatically To Skip

Speaking during an interview with IGN Japan, Final Fantasy VII Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi has revealed that the game will give players an option to level up their characters automatically without having to commit to the traditional method of grinding up their stats.

The development team received a lot of feedback from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth players that they only wanted to experience the main story without taking part in side content. However, as a result they struggled to make it through the core narrative as they skipped out on side content, which would have contributed heavily to levelling up their characters.

To combat this, Hamaguchi-san revealed that FFVII Revelation will be given the option “Do you want to automatically raise the level to the recommended level” at various points in the game, allowing players to skip the grinding process if they are lagging behind.

Hamaguchi recently touched base on Cloud’s absence in pre-release trailers for FFVII Revelation, stating that while he’s still the main character of the game, he’s aware that fans are eager to see more of the game’s cast. Furthermore, the game director stated that the concluding chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy will be about 200GB.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation picks up as Cloud and his companions face off against the looming threat of meteor as they gear up for a final showdown with Sephiroth. The world is now in chaos with the WEAPONs awakening as the planet finds itself in crisis, but the team now have access to the Highwind airship allowing them to navigate the globe with ease. Cid and Vincent are now main party members, and the map has opened up to reveal new locations such as Rocket Town and Wutai.
