One More Level Confirms $39.99 Price For Valor Mortis, Deluxe Edition Announced

One More Level has announced in a post on X that Valor Mortis will carry a $39.99 price tag when it launches on October 13, 2026, with the studio noting while they believe the title possesses the “quality, fidelity, and playtime” to stack up against full priced games, it understands that Fall 2026 is “stacked and there’s high demand for your time and money.”

“That’s why Valor Mortis is launching on October 13 at $39.99/€39.99,” said the studio. “Many of you have also asked us about pre-orders but we want to let the completed version of our game do the talking. You’ll be able to buy it when you have a full picture of Valor Mortis’ quality, creativity and craft at launch. We think you’ll appreciate how we’re breaking new ground for Soulslike and first-person action games.”

Beyond the standard version of Valor Mortis, One More Level is also offering the Deluxe Edition of the game, which will add a ‘Major Story DLC’ and several cosmetic packs for $59.99/€59.99.

Valor Mortis takes place during an alternate 19th century Eastern Europe, where a supernatural plague has been unleashed a result of Napoleon’s relentless war. Played follow Grande Armee soldier, William, who has been resurrected by Napoleon, as he battles his former comrades, which are now transformed into undead creatures while unravelling the mysteries behind the plague and his resurrection.
