Professor Layton and the Curious Village remake coming in 2027

In an AI-generated nightmare of a presentation, Level-5 has announced that it is working on a remake of Professor Layton and the Curious Village for both the Switch and Switch 2, due to be released in 2027.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village originally was a Nintendo DS title, and 18 years later it’s getting a glow-up with 3D characters. It’s now been adapted for a single screen as well. It’ll also run at a higher resolution, which you’d hope given the resolution of the Nintendo DS screen.

Level-5’s track record for delivering anything on time is a meme at this point, so we’ll play it when we play it, we guess.
