Team Vitality won the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 title in Barcelona on Sunday, beating Aurora Gaming 3-1 in the grand final, according to Field Level Media's report carried by the Merced Sun-Star.
The win was payback. Aurora had beaten Vitality 2-1 in Saturday's upper-bracket final, and Vitality had to fight through the lower bracket to get a second shot at them.
The $500,000 CS2 event ran from Thursday to Sunday with eight teams in a double-elimination bracket. Every match was best-of-three except the grand final, which ran best-of-five.
How Vitality Reached The Rematch
Vitality first had to get past FURIA in the lower-bracket final, and did so 2-0. They took Cache 13-5 and Anubis 13-8, with French star Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut finishing that series with 42 kills against 16 deaths.
That result set up the second meeting with Aurora in less than 24 hours.
Grand Final Swings Vitality's Way
The rematch opened with a split. Vitality crushed Aurora 13-4 on Anubis before Aurora hit back 13-11 on Inferno to level the series.
Vitality then took control. A 13-4 win on Mirage put them ahead, and a 13-7 finish on Cache sealed the title 3-1.
Herbaut closed the tournament with 71 kills against 44 deaths across the final. Estonian rifler Robin "ropz" Kool added 61 kills to 43 deaths in the same series.
First Trophy Since May
Esports News UK reported the win was Vitality's first title since May, citing coverage from HLTV. The outlet also pointed to HLTV's framing that Vitality lifted the trophy with their full five-man lineup back together, after stretches of the year playing without it.
Aurora finish as runners-up despite taking a map off Vitality in Saturday's upper-bracket final and forcing a fourth map in Sunday's decider.
Prize Money Breakdown
The $500,000 pool paid out across the eight-team field. Vitality collected the top prize of $200,000, split evenly between player and team shares.
Aurora took home $130,000 for second, with FURIA earning $70,000 for third and MIBR $40,000 for fourth. MOUZ and NRG each received $20,000 for finishing fifth to sixth, while Natus Vincere and magic each took $10,000 for seventh to eighth.
