Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be a massive game, not just in terms of revenue and scope, but also the literal playable area. Rockstar has given players a little insight into just how big the GTA 6 map is compared to its previous titles.

In a recent interview for GamesRadar’s EDGE Magazine, Rockstar said that the GTA 6 map is roughly twice the size of GTA 5’s. But Rockstar didn’t stop there, going on to state that the “total landmass, including Vice City and the surrounding areas, is nearly as large as the playable maps of GTAIV, GTAV and RDR2 combined.” Rockstar also stated that GTA 6 has “an order of magnitude more interiors,” than previous games.

It sounds like players will have more options than the usual gun stores, bars, and shops while exploring the humongous GTA 6 map. Make sure you check out our Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-order guide so you’re prepared for when this world-stopping game lands this month.
